5GTR FM is a community organisation with over 50 volunteers and announcers from all areas of the community. Most members are involved for the love of it but some are also wanting to make a career in the radio industry. Recent surveys show that almost half (47%) of listeners aged 15+ listening to community radio in an average month. * Refer to history section for full details. 5GTR supports local musicians and visiting musicians, covering local events and allowing recording artists live airplay to increase their exposure. 5GTR has seen many of its presenters move into Commerical and National Radio, demonstrating that the quality of our presentations is outstanding. |
